As part of the HISP academic program, students are required to attend three cultural arts events per quarter; they may attend events during the summer that count toward their first quarter cultural events requirement.

Cultural arts organizations within the greater Sacramento area may submit events for posting to the HISP website. There are three categories events (see Cultural Events Opportunities of current listings).

• Special Events
  (One-time or short-run events; HISP discounts or special offers may apply)
• Venues
  (Museums, galleries, and other exhibition spaces)
• Series
  (A season of live performances or lectures)

When submitting your event, include (1) a brief description and (2) a link to a website where students can obtain details (such as ticket prices or times). Note is student discounts are offered.

Corrections or Updates: If you are updating information for an already posted item, include the word “update” at the beginning of your message.
